Meet Our Long Form Teamz Directing Apprentices
/📢 Fans! CSz Philadelphia is happy to announce our new Directing Apprentices!
Yasmine Beydoun - Yasmine (she/her) was introduced to the world of comedy in college, where she was a sketch comedy writer and performer in Brown University's Out of Bounds. She only started dipping her toe into long-form improv after graduating, at UCB in New York City. In Philly, Yasmine has taken sketch and improv classes with Crossroad Comedy and is so excited to be a part of a CSZ production! Off stage, Yasmine is a graduate student at UPenn. She doesn't actually have a dog and is honestly more of a cat person but have you seen how cute this puppy is?
Yasmine will apprentice with Mary Carpenter and her show, "Don't I Know You?"
Emily Murphy - Emily (she/they) is an AuDHD improviser and writer based in Philly. She has studied comedy since 2019 at Philly Improv Theater, Crossroads Comedy, and CSz Philly. She currently performs with PHIT Harold team Main Dog, indie team 6 Different People, and indie duo Kram & Murphy. When not improvising or overthinking, they spend their time playing bass in metal band War on Christmas and very slowly training (struggling) to run the Philly marathon this fall.
Emily will apprentice with Siobhan O'Hara and her show, "Incantation."
