Winter 2023 Long Form Teamz Auditions

CSz Philadelphia, home of ComedySportz, Philly’s longest-running improv comedy show, is seeking experienced and up-and-coming improvisers to audition for our two Winter 2023 Long Form Teamz.

Every first and second Friday from February through May, these teams will perform two brand-new shows based on classic long form improv forms in THE IMPROV DOUBLE FEATURE:

  • Tanya Morgan and Frederick Bugyei are creating an improvised Love Story that combines long form and narrative elements.

  • Chris Sheroff and Ramya Sivakumar are creating an improvised reality show featuring over-the-top archetypes and over-the-topper drama.

CSz Philadelphia is for everyone, and we believe in helping prepare the next generation of improvisers for primetime. Our goal is to find diverse, talented, and versatile performers with unique experiences and points of view, including those of all levels of experience and training.

There is NO prerequisite for classes taken, and we welcome performers who are entirely new to CSz.

  • Compensation: Cast members are voluntary positions. Performers are not paid. CSz will cover all rehearsal and production costs, and for your investment of time and effort, we offer free scheduled rehearsal space, 8 performances, and an experienced director to coach and guide your team.

  • Audition Times: Please select all the time frames that work best for you. We will contact you with your audition time. Please also note that, if cast, you will be expected to attend a MANDATORY session on consent-based practices tentatively scheduled for early January.

  • Commitment: All cast members will be expected to attend four to five rehearsals in January 2023, along with a mandatory session covering consent based practices.

Performance Dates: Shows will take place the first and second Fridays of the month @ 10PM, starting in February and ending in May 2023. Cast members are expected to attend all performances. Please let us know if any of these dates do not work for you.

Our auditions are an opportunity for you to show your skill set and introduce yourself to us as an improviser. We can't wait to meet you, so have fun!
