GRIFFIN NEWMAN (Watto) is an actor, comedian, writer and podcaster raised in New York City, where he still resides.

It is regularly ranked amongst the top TV/Film podcasts on iTunes.

Griffin starred in the Amazon series THE TICK, playing the lead role of 'Arthur Everest'. He recurred on Martin Scorses's VINYL for HBO, Greg Berlanti’s miniseries POLITICAL ANIMALS for USA, and Colin Quinn's web series COP SHOW. He has guest starred in the sitcoms SEARCH PARTY and DIFFICULT PEOPLE, along with New York drama reliables LAW & ORDER: SVU and BLUE BLOODS. On the film side he portrayed Rick the Intern in Ivan Reitman’s DRAFT DAY alongside Kevin Costner and has appeared in many indies, including SXSW Grand Jury Prize winner FORT TILDEN and Kelly Reichardt's NIGHT MOVES. He's been the producer of THE GEORGE LUCAS TALK SHOW, at UCB from 2015 - 2020, and, starting in 2020, streaming on PlanetScum.Live. He was the warm up coming for the first show, it was his first public 'warm up experience' and he doesn't think he'll ever do it again. He was the editorial and talent producer at MARVEL for a few years and is currently the guest booker at EXACTLY RIGHT MEDIA.

He was the president of his high school drama club and the section leader in the marching band. He was really bad at the trumpet and barely ever played.

He's @patrickcotnoir on Twitter. Right now, he's trying to get more followers than the cancelled NBC show, MARLON.
