Join us this holiday season for a new original musical that is the perfect family Christmas show: CHRISTMASTOWN,PA!
Junior is bringing his girlfriend Haley home to meet the family over the holidays. Little does she know that they really, really, really love Christmas.
And they're puppets.
There are lots of Christmas shows in Philadelphia, but none like CHRISTMASTOWN, PA.
CSz Philadelphia is proud to present a new holiday tradition in the spirit of the Macy’s Christmas Light Show, the Christmas Village, and all 37 productions of A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Come watch as we transform the ComedySportz stage into the fictional CHRISTMASTOWN, PA. This is an all-ages Christmas show that is heartwarming, silly and hysterical.

COVID Safety Protocols
PROOF OF VACCINATION - CSz Philadelphia requires that all patrons must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and its variants, meaning you have received all applicable doses of your respective vaccine plus the recommended 2 week waiting period after your final dose. Digital or physical proof of COVID-19 vaccination for patrons and in-person students must be presented at the Box Office to gain entry.
PHOTO ID - Guests ages 18 and older must present a valid government-issued photo ID. Guests under 18 may also show a school photo ID. Guests under 12 must be accompanied by an adult who meets the above requirements.
UNVACCINATED - Children 12 and under, and audiences with a medical or religious exception will be asked to provide a COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time. No home tests will be accepted.
MASKS - All guests must wear a properly fitting mask over the nose and mouth in the theatre.
All sales must be made online in advance. We are suspending sales at the door at this time.
We have also suspended concessions sales through October. No outside food or drink is permitted in the theater at this time.
Any patron who is unable to meet these requirements will be denied entry and may be asked to leave the premises. They can exchange their tickets for a later date or receive a full refund.

Cast
Rob Cutler (Dad): Rob is a puppeteer, actor, improvisor, fabricator, and educator. He likes to make things: puppets and handmade objects, but also plays, television, lesson plans, and creative work of all kinds. Rob is a recent graduate of the University of Connecticut, with an MFA in Dramatic Arts (Puppet Arts Concentration). Before he was a puppetry grad student, he was a political scientist, a bartender, and a department store Santa Claus. He's looking forward to discovering his next job soon.
David Dritsas (Rubles): David has been performing improv and sketch comedy professionally for 20 years, working at ComedySportz in both Philadelphia and Chicago. He also worked for The Second City Theatricals department, performing in various shows and aboard cruise ships. He has performed at the Annoyance Theater in Chicago in the long-running hit show, Hitch-Cocktails. He's now back in Phillly and regularly performs with popular improv shows such as Murder Manor, Roll Play, Puppets Here & There, Timeprov, and more. He also has over 15 years of experience using improv to conduct corporate training workshops, both large and small.
Kelsey Hébert (Haley): Kelsey Hébert is a Philadelphia-based actor/improviser/teacher from New Orleans, LA with a BFA in performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a company member of ComedySportz Philly, the longest-running improv comedy show in Philadelphia, and has performed with multiple improv ensembles including Timeprov, Roll Play, and Trash Puppets. Recent credits include As You Like It (Celia/Adam/Jacques de Boys) and Buried Child (Shelly).
Donovan McDonald (Grandpa and Rudy): Donovan is excited to be part of this lovely wholesome production spreading holiday cheer! Graduated with a Musical Theater BA from Temple University (2019) with such recent credits: Judas from Jesus Christ Superstar, Ensemble/Escapologist in Matilda, Data from Khan! The Musical, and Lt. Cable(u/s) from South Pacific. With upcoming performances as SpongeBob SquarePants in the Spongebob Musical this upcoming May at Revival Productions! Angelina Meehan (Grandma, Jackelope, Tree): Angelina is thrilled to be joining the company of Christmastown, PA! She has been seen in several Philadelphia Fringe Fest musicals over the past few years, including Becoming Vegan and Only in Your Dreams, along with Thank You, Places: An Improvised Musical. Eoin O’Shea (Kent Dujor): Eoin thought he may never make it back to Christmas Town again, let alone perform with “Tree”. After studying with a small group of traveling grifters, he found himself at a cross roads. If chose to follow the map he found located deep in the recesses of the mind of The Most Powerful Wizard, he may have received wealth or even answers to the unanswerable. Then were the whisperings of an Island. There were dinosaurs? The chance to work with “Gribs” again. Yes, please. Claire Seelig (Mom): Claire is ecstatic to be making her return to live theatre with the ComedySportz team, reprising her role as Mom in Christmastown, PA. Since graduating with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Temple University in 2020, Claire has worked as a performer, director, and teaching artist around Philly and beyond. She has spent much of the last year performing in radio plays and virtual productions, including Love's Labour's Lost as Katharine and Saving Wonderland as Mama Pigeon. Before that, some of her favorite roles include Ursula March in Sweet Charity, Marty in Grease, and Flotsam in The Little Mermaid. These days, you can find her performing in the Dinner Detective Philly each weekend, and directing a radio play of Aphra Behn's Emperor of the Moon with Braving The Bard's online radio series. Ismaela Stewart (Chauncey Baskerville IV): Ismaela (she/her) has been a Philly based actor for three years. She is thrilled to be joining the cast and crew of Christmastown, PA for the second time as Chauncey Baskerville. Most recently, Maela was involved in Theatre on the Verge’s production of ‘As You Like It’. Other notable performances in Philly include ‘The Dumb Waiter’, ‘Lobby Hero’, and a staged reading of ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’. “
Dave Sucharski (Junior): Dave is excited to return to Christmastown, PA for the holiday season! Favorite holiday credits include “Annie” with Emmy Award winning actress/comedian Wanda Sykes at The Media Theatre and Bob Wallace in “White Christmas.” Other regional credits include: Jerry in “The Full Monty,” Neville in “The Secret Garden,” Laurie in “Little Women,” Danny Zuko in “Grease,” Woof in “Hair,” and Benjamin Cohen in “Steve Martin's: The Underpants.” For the past decade, Dave has performed, taught, and directed improv throughout Philly, with projects including former director of "Thank You, Places: An Improvised Musical." Joe Gribbin (book, music & lyrics, piano): Joe is thrilled to be back performing with CSz. He lives in Media with his wife, Meggie, their six children, and their dog, Stargazer. He also serves on the board of Hedgerow Theatre Company. This is his first musical.
Alan Williams (Director): Alan has been performing improv comedy for over 20 years, and has worked at comedy theaters in New York, North Carolina, Seattle, and Philadelphia. Originally trained at the famed Upright Citizens Brigade theater in NYC, Alan has been seen in myriad shows of all types of comedy: staged readings, short- and long-form improv, musical improv, and even in the bat (improv performed in complete darkness). He has taught classes with CSz Philadelphia for several years--both in person and virtually--and is excited to be working with cast and crew of CHRISTMASTOWN, PA.
