Turn off the cable sports channel with the college basketball highlights and get ready for the comedy highlight of March: BIG BRACKET BEDLAM! A single elimination tournament of comedic proportions.
50 professional ComedySportz Players have been divided into 16 heavy-hitting teams ready to do gut-busting battle.
Every Saturday and Sunday in March the teams compete playing Philadelphia’s longest-running show, ComedySportz (see below).
One team is eliminated, and one team continues on to the next bracket. (Sound familiar? Madness, no?)
The final two teams play in the Championship Round on Sunday, March 29th!
Will it be the old-school South Street Soft Pretzels or the method acting Streep! Or will the adorable Sansom Street Sea Otters take down the oddly named Captain Platformica?

What Is ComedySportz
ComedySportz is an improv comedy show unlike anything you've seen before: two teams of improvisers battle each other for points and laughs.
ComedySportz is a high-energy interactive comedy event, appropriate for all ages.
The audience gets in on the fun by shouting out suggestions, cheering their favorite team, awarding points, and helping choose the WINNER!
ComedySportz is comedy played as a sport, featuring some of the funniest improvisers in Philadelphia. Every Saturday and Sunday, the Players use their wits and audience suggestions, to create comedic scenes, songs and games on the spot. An Announcer provides scoring updates and color commentary and a Referee acts as host: timing the games, calling the fouls, and getting suggestions from The Loyal Fans! (That’s you.)
We might even bring a Loyal Fan onstage to play a game with us…it could be you!

+ How long is the show?
A ComedySportz match runs 90 minutes (with a 5-10 minute halftime).
+ Is this good for my kids?
Absolutely! ComedySportz is for everyone; we have been entertaining fans of all ages for over 25 years. We even have a Brown Bag Foul should anyone say anything offensive, or inappropriate.
+ Is this a show about sports?
No. It's a comedy show that looks and acts like a sporting event with teams, points, fouls, a referee, and of course, Loyal Fans.
+ Can I bring food and drink?
Food, no. We do have a concessions stand with plenty of snacks and soft drinks for your enjoyment.
Drinks, if you mean alcohol, then yes. We are BYOB and we can provide cups and an opener if needed. All PA liquor laws apply and anyone appearing intoxicated will be asked to leave.

Match Times:
Saturdays in March @ 7:30PM and 10PM (BYOB)
Sundays in March @ 2PM

CSz Philadelphia, 2030 Sansom Street (between Walnut & Chestnut and 20th & 21st Shtreets)
Running Time:
Saturday: 90 minutes with a short halftime (aka intermission).
Sunday: 60 minutes with no halftime
Tickets:
Saturday: $20 Adults / $15 for Students, Seniors and Military (with valid ID).
Sunday: $15 General Admission
ComedySportz accepts cash and credit cards at the Box Office. Sorry, we no longer accept pelts.
