Philly actors are given a scene & learn their lines; NYC improvisers are given nothing & must make it work.

New York’s top improvisers and Philly’s best actors perform in scenes from Mamet to Moliere and everything in between. The actors will know their lines and the improvisers will improvise with no prior knowledge of the scenes. The format was inspired by Stephen Ruddy and was originally performed under the name "Gravid Water" at UCB.

Our Theater

Our 100-seat theater is comedy-intimate and ADA accessible. You get great sight-lines, comfy seats, private bathrooms, and a concessions stand with moderately-priced snacks and drinks. Everything you need is conveniently located in our space.

Well, almost everything.

We don’t serve alcohol.

But we are BYOB, that means no markup on liquor.
