CSz Philadelphia is holding auditions for their new improvised show called TGIF! TGIF! is an evening of improvised sitcoms from the 80s and 90s: GOLDEN GIRLS, FULL HOUSE, and FRIENDS.

The shows will run in a rotation over four Friday nights in April (e.g. First Friday might be Golden Girls and Friends, next Friday would be Friends and Full House, etc.)

*Performers are compensated a percentage of ticket sales.*

Casting

We are looking to cast people who are strong improvisers and who can capture the essence, not the ethnicity, appearance, age, or gender, of each character as it was seen on TV. All are encouraged to apply.

FULL HOUSE

• D.J. Tanner

• Michelle Tanner (TBD)

• Rebecca “Becky” Donaldson Katsopolis

FULL HOUSE will be directed by Emily Davis and Kevin Regan.

FRIENDS

• Monica Geller

• Rachel Green

• Phoebe Buffay

• Ross Geller

• Chandler Bing

• Joey Tribbiani

FRIENDS will be directed by Don Montrey.

Golden Girls is already cast.

Rehearsals and Performance

Rehearsals will be on Sundays, starting January 26th. Each cast will rehearse on Sundays either in the AM until 1PM or Sunday afternoons after 5PM. (Please note: this incorrectly said “until 5PM.” It has been corrected.)

Tech rehearsals will be Saturday, March 28th in the afternoon.

Shows run April 3, 10, 17, and 24 @ 8PM.

Commitment - All cast members will be expected to make attendance at rehearsals and shows a priority, with attendance at 80% or more of weekly rehearsals, and full attendance at tech rehearsals before the show opens.
